All materials are included. Handmade Paper from Recycled Materials. No experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity. Class Description: Join us for a hands-on papermaking workshop where we turn every day used office paper and other recycled materials into beautiful, handmade paper. In this class, we will use the Mother's Day theme to explore a few papermaking techniques. You will end up with a nice variety of your own paper creations and plantable pieces of paper that are embedded with wildflower seeds. You will have the option to make a handmade Mother's Day card. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to explore sustainable art techniques, this class will guide you through the entire papermaking process—from transforming scrap paper into pulp to creating and decorating unique sheets of handmade paper. In this three-hour workshop, you'll learn: ✔ How to properly break down and prepare used office paper for pulp ✔ Techniques for pulling, pressing, and drying handmade paper ✔ Ways to add texture, color, and inclusions using recycled and natural materials ✔ Sustainable crafting tips and how to repurpose everyday waste into beautiful, functional art By the end of the class, you’ll take home several handmade sheets of your own eco-friendly paper, perfect for journals, greeting cards, collage, or other creative projects! Cancellation Policy
Class Cancellation Policy Life happens and so we have to be flexible - to that end: In the event that I am rendered unable to teach the workshop that you have booked a place on, I will endeavor to notify you as early as is possible and a full refund will be issued to your designated bank account, or to the credit card that you used for payment. Alternatively, you may choose to authorize me to retain your payment as credit for a future workshop. In the event that you are unable to attend the workshop that you have booked, due to circumstances beyond your control: For cancellations received 72 hours or more prior to the workshop date, a full refund will be issued For cancellations received within 72 hours of the workshop, a 75% refund will be issued Due to limited places, no refund will be given if you don’t notify me that you will not be attending.
